Who or What is the Holy Spirit?

Churches today look just like the world. When did Jesus conform to fit into what the world expected of Him? Can you find that in the scriptures anywhere at all? Jesus walked with a power in Him that ruined funerals everywhere He went. Remember that one time, with that one guy Lazarus?

Jesus told the disciples that Him inside of them would be stronger than Him with them. Why do Christians love to brag about their sins and struggles? Why do churches follow weekly programs, routines, and processes and ignore the movement of the Spirit of God. The Spirit is God and if we walk and talk with God, then His Spirit is in us every second of the day. If Adam and Eve walked and talked with God in the coolness of the day, then the Spirit of God in us allows that relationship to be continuous throughout the day. Do we even realize what that kind of power, authority and connection this creates for believers?

Look at just a few of the scriptures speaking of Him (Holy Spirit).

Luke 24:49
I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high."

John 7:39
By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

John 14:16
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever--

John 14:26
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

John 15:26
"When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father--the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father--he will testify about me.

Acts 2:33
Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.

Acts 10:41
He was not seen by all the people, but by witnesses whom God had already chosen--by us who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
